Crabbing

Two days ago my mom, dad,Lauren,Isabel, Nanny, and I went crabbing. We caught 12 crabs but had to throw 6 away because they were to small. So we ended up with 6 crabs medium size. It was a lot of fun. We crabbed at the dock down by Nanny's old house. Mom and dad went kayaking when Lauren and Isabel and Nanny left. When we finished mom went to Joe's seafood and got 12 more crabs. Tanya came over for dinner and we ate crabs.

Abby's broken tooth

This past week we were at WSS. It was great. Abby came with me for her first time. She said she had a great time. Our Junior high class started with 9 kids then 2 girls left for home, and 1 guy and two girls left for Camp Caleb. So it ended up to only be 4 people in my class. Me, Abby, and two guys. Our teacher Alex was really nice. We had two injures though. About halfway through the week a bug got in my hair and we couldn't find it but it ended up to be a wasp. We got it out but I did get stung. The second injury happened to Abby. While we were playing gravel with are class (gravel is a game that you play on a playground and one person closes there eyes and tries to tag the other people on the playground)Abby was it and she hit a pole and chipped her tooth in half. She did get it fixed and is feeling better now.

in the airport

We had quite the adventure getting home from WA state. Ben took us to the airport a 9:30 A.M. and are flight left at 2:35 P:M. When we got on the plane and we were about to take of the pilot said a light came on that said something was wrong with the window heater so he said we have to go back to the gate to get a mechanic look at it. Well we ended up staying on the plane for 2-3 hours just to hear that we all have to get off the plane because the mechanic has to look and see if the part we needed was in the airport. To are dismay the part they needed was somewhere in Arizona. So they said they are delaying the plane till 1 a.m. in the morning. They gave us meal vouchers ( 10$ per person) and a free ticket to fly back to WA state if you stayed in the airport till the plane leaves. So we waited in the airport and played cards and watched movies. We did make it home at 9 A.M on Wed. morning thankfully. We are home now and recovering.

Mt. Rainer

On. Tues. the 10 we went to Mt. Rainer National park. It was GREAT. We had a nice campground and a pop-up we rented from the air force base. Mom, Dad, Jonas, Shae, and I went. We had one very clear day so we went up to the visitor center Paradise. We had a breath taking view of the mountain. But the first day was a little cloudy so we went on a hike to carter falls. On that hike there was a scary bridge that was made of a cut in half and one railing. And to make it even worse there was a VERY VERY fast moving rive rushing under the bridge. We did make it to see the falls. We had a GREAT time

4 of July

Happy Fourth of July!!! We had a great one in Washington St. In Heather and Ben's neighborhood they had a carnival with moon bounces, live bands, food, horse back ridding, games, and the most awesome thing was is that there were army skydivers that dropped in the middle of the carnival. It was awesome!! After that we came home for a little while and then went to a street party and ate dinner there. It was a great fourth of July.

Camping

For the last four days (6/29-7/2) we were camping at Olympic National park in Washington State. It was great. We rented a pop-up and Heather and the four kids stayed in there tent. It was really cold though. Almost all day you can see your breath. The campground had places were you can camp on the water but are camp sight was like 1-2 min. away. The beach was full of logs so Jonas and i built a fort. You are not supposed to swim there because there are strong riptides but there are cool tide pools. One day we went hiking in HOH temperate rainforest. I even did a project about it in school. WE are back know but we leave for another camping trip in Mt. Rainer National park on Tues. I can't wait
